What is Rehabilitation & Post-Natal Pilates?

This Pilates class is run by Chartered Physiotherapist, Kate Chearman and is aimed at anyone who is rehabilitating from injury or who is post-natal and looking to get back to full strength.

Kate has over 20 years experience and has worked with leading consultants in back and knee joint rehabilitation and also as a women's health physiotherapist.

Note: We recommend that anyone with complex back issues, has a 1:1 physiotherapy session prior to joining the class, to ensure that Kate can tailor exercises to suit your needs.

Benefits of Rehabilitation & Post-Natal Pilates:

  • Improve posture

  • Improve core strength

  • Help strengthen pelvic floor

  • Help to relieve back pain

  • Help reduce stress and anxiety

  • Build a strong foundation from which to move on to other classes and perform everyday tasks with confidence.

What do I need to bring?

All equipment and drinking water is provided but should you wish to bring your own water bottle a water filter machine is available for refills. Please help us to protect the environment by not using single use plastic bottles.

Please wear grip Pilates socks and comfortable clothes (no belts or zips please as they can make some exercises uncomfortable and damage our mats!).

Make sure the clothes you wear are not too baggy, however, as we need to look at your form.
