Power Pilates

A combination of Pilates and weights, this faster paced class is for you if you like to be challenged.

Duration: 60 mins

Intensity: Medium

Impact: Low Impact

What is Power Pilates?

Using weights in conjunction with Pilates will work you harder, developing your overall body tone and strength. Weights play an essential role in our physical wellbeing and should be incorporated into just about everyone’s fitness routine. This is a slightly faster paced Pilates class so you should have done at least 6 Pilates classes prior to doing this class.

Benefits of Power Pilates:

  • Improve posture

  • Increase overall body strength

  • Improve muscle tone

  • Increase flexibility and mobility

  • Improve balance and coordination

  • Help prevent injury

What do I need to bring?

All equipment and drinking water is provided but should you wish to bring your own water bottle a water filter machine is available for refills. Please help us to protect the environment by not using single use plastic bottles.

Please wear grip Pilates socks and comfortable clothes (no belts or zips please as they can make some exercises uncomfortable and damage our mats!).

Make sure the clothes you wear are not too baggy, however, as we need to look at your form.
