What is Mother & Baby Yoga?
During these classes you will use movement, breath work and relaxation to allow the body and mind to heal from the transformation of pregnancy and birth. Mums are encouraged to bring their babies, who will remain in the room during practice. This class offers a great opportunity for new mothers to connect with each other and create a supportive community for new motherhood to bloom. These classes are available to new mothers and their babies from birth up to crawling. You may like to bring along your baby’s blanket for them to lay on beside you during your practice.
Note: Postnatal yoga is safe to be practiced from four weeks after a natural birth and six weeks after a C-section but please make sure you have the approval of your doctor or midwife.

What do I need to bring?
All equipment and drinking water is provided but should you wish to bring your own water bottle a water filter machine is available for refills. Please help us to protect the environment by not using single use plastic bottles.
Please wear grip Pilates socks and comfortable clothes (no belts or zips please as they can make some exercises uncomfortable and damage our mats!).
Make sure the clothes you wear are not too baggy, however, as we need to look at your form.
